Designed with a secondary inlet, further resulting in even better airflow. A silcone plug is included for those who prefer to pull in air only from the fender inlet.
Stronger, Better Silicone Parts
Silicone is a premium rubber that can withstand temperatures up to 400 F and won't crack or tear with age. It's tough yet elastic enough to stretch, then snap into a perfect seal. That's why S&B used silicone to build this kit's filter, inlet, couplet and tube sleeve.
Avoid Check engine lights
S&B designed this kit to avoid check engine lights with a properly mapped Mass Air Sensor. This is where S&B runs away from the competition. Vehicles are becoming more complex. S&B devotes a huge amount of resources to engineer intakes that will allow your engine to run properly with the stock calibration or with enhanced tuning.
