Pro 5R Filter Media: Top Mounted Heat Shield Design: Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube: Premium Components: Emissions Disclaimer:
This intake system features a 7" tall conical air filter with five layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze media to provide maximum performance. Its progressive layering allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. Pro 5R filters are easily recharged with aFe's POWER CLEANER and blue air filter oil.
aFe developed this sturdy 18 gauge steel wrinkle-black powder-coated heat shield to snap onto the top of the lower half of the factory airbox to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations. The retention groove on the filter base locks the filter onto the heat shield without any additional hardware.
This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. The integrated slotted mounting tabs secure the tube to the radiator shroud and allow for engine movement while off-roading.
Stainless-steel worm clamps and silicone couplings are used for strength and durability.
