Heat-Resistant Intake Tube w/ One-Piece Heat Shield
This Stage-2 cold air intake system produces 18 max horsepower, 22 lbs. x ft. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 12%. Included in this system is a 18-gauge, powder-coated heat shield and washable/reusable "oiled" conical air filter. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. One-piece heat shield requires little or no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
Silicone Throttle Body Adapter:
A silicone throttle body adapter is included for a durable connection and seal over the life of the intake system.
6" 360 Degree Air Filter:
A massive 360 degree round inverted top air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient). The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
Heavy-Duty T-Bolt Clamp:
Included in this kit is a stainless steel T-bolt clamp to insure a tight and secure installation.
Hassle-Free Installation:
aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.
Fitment Note:
This item will not Challenger or Charger models equipped with the Shaker hood.
Fitment Note with Throttle Body Spacer:
aFe POWER throttle body spacer (P/N: 46-32007) will fit with this intake but requires intake tube modification. The intake tube will need to be cut on the marked cut line.
